How Gunamaya handles accounts, telemetry, and data across the IDE and website.
This statement describes how Gunamaya collects and uses information when you use the Gunamaya desktop IDE, Gunamaya web services, and related documentation on gunamaya.com. We aim to collect only what is needed to run the product, improve reliability, and support your account.
When you sign in through gunamaya.com/ide-auth, we process the identifiers your chosen provider shares (for example email, display name, and avatar) so we can create or restore your Gunamaya session in the IDE. Authentication for Google and GitHub is handled by Firebase Authentication; we do not receive your provider password.
The Gunamaya IDE may send limited diagnostic and usage telemetry so we can detect crashes, measure feature health, and prioritize fixes. You can review and change telemetry settings in the IDE. Telemetry is not used to sell personal data or to train third-party advertising profiles.
Crash reports may include technical details such as OS version, product version, and stack traces. Avoid putting secrets into issue titles or feedback forms.
Extensions installed from Open VSX or elsewhere are published by their own authors. Those publishers may collect data under their own privacy policies. Gunamaya does not control third-party extension behavior.
If you send feedback or report an issue, we receive the content you submit (and optional screenshots or system info you attach) so we can investigate and reply. Do not include passwords, tokens, or private keys in feedback.
The page at gunamaya.com/redirect exists only to complete browser-based sign-in flows for the desktop IDE. It forwards an authorization response to a local Gunamaya callback (gunamaya://… or http://127.0.0.1…) and does not store the authorization code on our servers.
