Introducing Gyaanmitra
4 min read
You can write a website, a desktop app, or a phone app with a lot of help these days. The harder part is knowing it works. That check usually happens somewhere else: a browser, a test tool, a script you only remember when something breaks for a customer.
Gyaanmitra is Gunamaya's IDE for both sides of that job. You write the software here. You also prove it here.
The agent sits in the editor
Plan mode reads the files and suggests a change. It waits. Act mode shows a diff, and you accept or reject each piece. If it needs the terminal, it asks first. You bring your own model key, so the editor is not tied to one vendor.
The browser sits in the editor too
The integrated browser is a real Playwright browser: tabs, DevTools, screenshots. You can click through the site you just built, or let the agent do the clicking and show you what happened. That part ships today.
The rest of testing is the point, and it is not all here yet
Websites are the start. The aim is one place for API checks, desktop apps on Mac, Linux, and Windows, mobile on Android and iOS, performance, and penetration testing. Those are next. We would rather say so than invent a button.
If you want to try the part that exists, download Gyaanmitra and then read how testing is shaped.
