Gamaya
Terms of Use
The rules for using Gamaya: your account, the AI planner, Gamaya Pro, credits, fair use, and features on the way.
Last updated 12 October 2026
1. The agreement
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Gunamaya Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Gunamaya”, “we”, “us”), the maker of Gamaya, the AI trip planner for Android and iOS. They apply whenever you use the Gamaya app or the Gamaya pages of gunamaya.com (together, “Gamaya”).
The Gamaya Privacy Policy and the Gamaya License Agreement are part of these terms. By ticking the box when you create your account, or by using Gamaya, you confirm that you have read and accept all three. If you do not accept them, do not create an account or use Gamaya.
This agreement is an electronic record under India’s Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. It is accepted electronically and does not need a physical or digital signature.
2. Who can use Gamaya
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use Gamaya with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these terms for you and is responsible for your use.
- You must be able to enter a binding contract where you live, and you must not be barred from using the service under any law that applies to you.
- An account is for one person. Creating more than one account to collect free or welcome credits again is not allowed.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google or Apple, and verify your mobile number and email address with a one-time code when you sign up. Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your Google or Apple sign-in and your phone secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us at once through Contact Us if you think someone else has used your account.
- You may not sell, share, lend, or transfer your account, its plan, or its credits.
- Your trips, saved places, preferences, and plan follow your account onto every phone you sign in to.
4. What Gamaya does, and what it does not
Gamaya plans itineraries, suggests places, stays, food, and transport, orders stops along the road, shows places near you, and answers questions through Genie, its AI assistant. It uses Google Maps Platform for places and routes and Google Gemini for AI.
- Gamaya is a planning aid. Opening hours, prices, road conditions, weather, closures, and availability change, and AI can be wrong. Check anything important, such as timings, entry rules, permits, visas, health, and safety advice, with the official source before you rely on it.
- Gamaya is not a travel agent, tour operator, or booking platform. It does not book or sell travel, and it is not a party to any booking or deal you make with a hotel, restaurant, transport provider, guide, or other business.
- Distances, travel times, and costs are estimates. Routes may include roads or places that are closed, unsafe, or unsuitable for you or your vehicle.
- Navigation opens in Google Maps or Apple Maps, under those apps’ own terms. Follow local laws and road signs, and never use your phone in a way that is unsafe while travelling.
- Gamaya is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the local emergency number.
5. Genie and other AI features
- Itineraries, suggestions, descriptions, and Genie answers are generated automatically by AI. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuitable, and they are not professional travel, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice.
- You are responsible for how you use AI output and for the decisions you make with it.
- To answer you, the text of your request and the trip details it needs are sent to our servers and to Google Gemini, as the Privacy Policy explains. Do not enter passwords, payment details, government ID numbers, or health information you do not want processed.
- We may limit, filter, or refuse requests to keep the service safe, lawful, and affordable, and we may review requests that are reported or flagged for abuse.
6. Location and device permissions
Gamaya asks for your location to show places near you and to start trips from where you are, for the camera or photos only when you choose a profile photo, and for the microphone only when you search by voice. Each permission is optional. If you refuse one, Gamaya keeps working with what you type, and you can change your choice at any time in your phone’s settings.
7. Plans and credits
Gamaya has a free plan and Gamaya Pro, sold as weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions, plus one-time top-ups. What each plan includes and costs is shown on the Pro screen in the app and on the Gamaya pricing page.
- One balance of credits pays for building itineraries, Genie, maps, photos, and other AI features. Each use costs credits according to the AI and map work it really takes, converted at that day’s exchange rate, so a quick answer costs a couple of credits and a large request more. The app shows typical costs, and a build shows its range before it starts.
- Free credits are given only after your mobile number is verified. Welcome credits are given once per mobile number, even if an account using that number was deleted.
- A trip can go to up to six places. A build holds up to its range of credits while it runs and then pays only what it really cost once its itinerary is ready and saved. A build that fails is not charged.
- Plan credits refill at the start of each cycle of your plan. Unused plan credits roll over for one cycle, up to one cycle’s worth; older ones lapse.
- Top-ups can be bought only while you have an active weekly, monthly, or yearly plan. Top-up credits do not expire, but they can be used only while a plan is active: a few days after a plan ends, they pause, and they come back as soon as you choose a plan again. Welcome credits last until you use them. Plan credits are spent first, then top-up credits, then welcome credits.
- A request already answered may take the balance a few credits below zero, and the next refill repays them.
- Credits are a measure of use, not money. They have no cash value, earn no interest, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money, except where the law requires otherwise.
- Some features are part of Gamaya Pro only, such as Genie inside your itineraries, route optimization, and hidden gems. When a subscription ends, the account returns to the free plan and Pro features lock again.
- We may change what a feature costs in credits for future use. A change never takes away credits you already have.
8. Payments and automatic renewal
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and charged to that store account. Prices are shown in your local currency and include taxes where they apply. Gunamaya does not receive or store your card or payment details.
- Gamaya Pro renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price, unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
- Changing between weekly, monthly, and yearly is handled by the store, which may apply the change at once or at the next renewal and may prorate the price.
- If we change a plan’s price, the store tells you before the new price applies to your subscription, as its rules require.
9. Refunds
Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its policies. For the App Store, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, use your Play order history. When a purchase is refunded, its subscription or credits are removed from your account. Nothing in these terms limits a refund right you have under consumer law.
10. Fair use and acceptable use
To keep Gamaya fast, safe, and affordable for everyone, you agree not to:
- run more than one itinerary build at a time, start builds in bulk, or repeatedly start and stop builds to use the service without paying for it. Builds you stop part way are free a couple of times a day; after that they count as used;
- use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access Gamaya, or scrape, copy, or resell its results, place data, photos, or map content;
- get around plan limits, the metering of credits, phone verification, or any security measure, or create accounts to collect free credits again;
- interfere with, overload, probe, or attack Gamaya’s servers or networks, or upload viruses or harmful code;
- use Genie or any feature to create or share content that is unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights, or to plan anything illegal or dangerous;
- impersonate anyone, give false details, or use someone else’s phone number, email, or account;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
Daily limits apply to some requests to protect the service. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these rules, and credits used or gained through abuse are not restored.
11. Your content
You keep ownership of what you add to Gamaya, such as trip details, notes, your profile photo, preferences you ask Genie to remember, and messages you send us. You give Gunamaya a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to store, copy, process, and display that content only to run Gamaya for you and as the Privacy Policy explains. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law.
You confirm that you have the right to the content you add, including any photo, and that it does not break the law or anyone’s rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
12. Feedback
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Gamaya without any obligation or payment to you.
13. Third-party services
Gamaya relies on services run by others, including Google Maps Platform, Google Gemini, Firebase, Apple Maps, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, the App Store, and Google Play. Place details, photos, reviews, and routes come from those services and belong to their owners. Your use of map content is also subject to the Google Maps Terms of Service (maps.google.com/help/terms_maps) and the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of those services, or for any business listed in Gamaya. Gamaya is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, Google, or any business it shows.
14. Features on the way
We are building more of Gamaya. Features marked “Coming soon”, or offered as a preview or beta, include:
- Offline trips: keeping your itinerary and maps on your phone for use without a signal. Saved content can go out of date, may be limited by what map providers allow to be stored, and may need to be refreshed online.
- Sharing trips with family and friends: inviting people to view or plan a trip with you. The people you invite will see the trip and its details, along with your name and profile photo. You are responsible for who you share with, and each person needs their own Gamaya account and must accept these terms.
- Live trip tracking and on-trip guidance: showing where you are on your itinerary while a trip is active. It will use your location only with your permission, and in the background only if you allow it; it can use more battery and data, and you can stop it at any time. It is a convenience, not a safety or emergency service.
Until a feature is generally available it is provided “as is”, may change or be withdrawn at any time, and may be limited to Gamaya Pro or to some users. When a feature launches, we will ask for any new permission it needs and update these terms and the Privacy Policy if it changes how your data is handled. Announcing a feature is not a promise that it will launch or by when.
15. Ownership of Gamaya
Gamaya, its name, logos, design, content, and software belong to Gunamaya Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Your right to use the app is set out in the Gamaya License Agreement. Gamaya is not open source.
16. Changes to Gamaya and to these terms
We improve Gamaya over time and may add, change, suspend, or remove features, and Gamaya may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
We may update these terms. When a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we may ask you to accept the new version. Using Gamaya after that means you accept the updated terms. Changes never take away a subscription period you have already paid for.
17. Ending your use
You can stop using Gamaya at any time. You can delete your account and its data yourself in the app, under Profile and then Delete account, or ask us to do it through Contact Us in the app or by writing to privacy@gunamaya.com from the email on your account. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first. Unused credits end when an account is deleted.
We may suspend or end your access, with notice where we reasonably can, if you break these terms, if we must by law, to prevent fraud or harm, or if we stop offering Gamaya. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and governing law, continue after this agreement ends.
18. Disclaimers
Gamaya is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Gunamaya gives no warranty that Gamaya will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or accurate, or that places, routes, or AI output are correct or suitable, and disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
19. Limits of liability
To the extent the law allows, Gunamaya and its directors, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, for loss of data, profits, or opportunity, or for loss arising from travel decisions, bookings, or events on a trip.
Our total liability for all claims about Gamaya is limited to the amount you paid for Gamaya in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
20. Indemnity
To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate Gunamaya for claims, losses, and reasonable costs, including legal fees, that arise from your breach of these terms, your misuse of Gamaya, or content you add that breaks the law or someone else’s rights.
21. Events beyond our control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, war, unrest, government action, power or network failures, or outages at the providers Gamaya relies on.
22. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it within 30 days. Otherwise, the courts of India have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have under consumer law to bring a claim where you live.
23. General
- These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the License Agreement are the whole agreement between you and Gunamaya about Gamaya.
- If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, with your rights protected.
- If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
24. Apple App Store terms
If you use Gamaya on an Apple device, these terms also apply:
- These terms are between you and Gunamaya only, not Apple. Gunamaya, not Apple, is responsible for Gamaya and its content.
- Your license to use Gamaya is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Gamaya.
- If Gamaya fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Gamaya.
- Gunamaya, not Apple, is responsible for handling claims about Gamaya, including product liability, failure to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection, privacy, and intellectual property claims.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
25. Google Play terms
If you get Gamaya from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to the download and to purchases. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Gamaya.
26. Contact and grievances

Complaints go to our Grievance Officer at privacy@gunamaya.com, who acknowledges them within 48 hours and resolves them within 30 days, as Indian law requires. Gunamaya Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India.
