Install Gunamaya

Gunamaya ships as a native build for Windows, macOS, and Linux, across both x64 and Arm architectures — no emulation layer, no second-class platform.

Quick install

Download the .exe installer for your architecture and run it. Gunamaya installs per-user by default, so it doesn't require administrator privileges, and it adds itself to your PATH so you can launch it from any terminal with:

gunamaya .

to open the current folder.

What you get out of the box

Every build includes the full editor, the integrated terminal, Git support, debugging, task running, and the Integrated Browser. Gunamaya AI is included too, connected to the model provider of your choice — see Pricing for what's included at each tier. Gunamaya only talks to the network when you explicitly ask it to: checking for updates, installing an extension, or connecting to an AI provider you've configured.

Open your first folder

Launch Gunamaya and use File → Open Folder… to open a project, or run gunamaya . from inside one in your terminal.
